Dog Licenses

State law requires that all dog owners license any dog over 6 months of age with the Town Clerk between January 1 and April 1 of every year. To obtain a license the owner must present proof that the dog has been vaccinated against rabies, pay the appropriate fee and, in the case of spayed/neutered dogs, provide proof of sterilization. 

Special fees apply for licensed kennels and dogs kept for breeding purposes; contact the Town Clerk for further details.

Motor Vehicle Registration Renewal

Vermont DMV processes all motor vehicle registrations. Here is a link to their website.

Lyndon’s Annual Town Meeting is held the first Tuesday in March. Australian balloting is held from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

 

Primary elections are held the second Tuesday of August every even numbered year. General elections are held the second Tuesday of November every even numbered year.

 

Primary and General elections are held in the gymnasium of the Municipal Office Building located at 119 Park Avenue.

 

If you are not registered to vote and would like to be you can register right online with the Secretary of States Office at https://olvr.vermont.gov/.
