Are you a transplant who recently found themselves in the Northeast Kingdom? Did you grow up here, move away, and decide to return to this great state? Are you tied to Vermont by school, friends and family, or an outdoor activity?

Vermont Welcome Wagon Project seeks to complement the efforts in the state to close the talent gap in Vermont by helping retain new, newly returning, and existing Vermonters in the state by assisting them to get connected (or more deeply connected) to community. Our goal is for people to connect to their new community and “figure out” Vermont as deeply and quickly as best serves them.

Moving requires a lots of attention to detail. We’ve gathered all the small moving parts that help make this town your community. On the Lyndon Services page you will find information about schools, trash & recycling, and how to get hooked up with Lyndonville Electric Department. You will also find links to town amenities such as Cobleigh Public Library, Lyndon Chamber of Commerce, & Lyndon Fire and Police.

Front Porch Forum is a free community-building service in Vermont and parts of New York. Your neighborhood’s forum is only open to the people who live there. It’s all about helping neighbors connect. It’s a great source for hyper-local news.

Moving here means being surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, a Vermont lifestyle that’s hard to beat, and amazing outdoor recreation opportunities. Visit the Recreation, Parks, & Events page for the details on all things outdoors and adventure.
