Lyndon Small Business Fund<\/h2>\n

The Town of Lyndon has established the Lyndon Small Business Fund to support both the development of new businesses in Lyndon and the growth of existing small businesses. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis over a two-year period, with approximately half the funding dispersed in 2024 and half dispersed in 2025.     State income tax credits are available to business and property owners with buildings constructed prior to 1983 and located within a State designated downtown or village center. Credits can help defray the cost of historic rehabilitation, fa\u00e7ade and code improvements and technology upgrades.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Costs to improve a building’s energy efficiency can be expensive. Efficiency Vermont aims to bring those costs down through incentive programs and rebates for energy efficiency improvements.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    Administered by the National Park Service, a 20% federal income tax credit is available for rehabilitation of income-producing historic buildings, including multi-family housing. Properties must be listed in the National Register of Historic Places and work must meet preservation standards.<\/span><\/p>\n
